ReplyDeleteLife is just so unfair sometimes. Trina looked like a lovely lady, sure to be missed. One day there will be a cure for cancer - lets hope it comes soon. I am glad you did that ride for her.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Cancer is ugly and takes from us far too often. I'm sure she enjoyed the ride.

I feel yah'. You don't have control over most things in this world, but you can control how you deal with it. You dealt well.
ReplyDeleteEveryone's run comes to an end, except for those fortnate enough to have brothers and sisters that will continue onward in their name.
Run forward with your sister in mind, and her name on your lips, and her run will never see the end of the road.
Best wishes and my thoughts are there.
The good ones seem always to be taken from us too soon. You have my condolences, MQ.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your friend. May she RIP and enjoy many more miles as you remember her while on your travels.
ReplyDeleteMs. M - So Sorry to hear about your friend. While she may be gone in body it's clear her spirit will be riding along with you for a long, long time.
ReplyDeleteThis past weekend I put a new bumper sticker on my Symba. It reads, "I believe in life BEFORE death." Timing. I hate loosing friends, to have them disappear over the horizon and escape time as I know it. I loved you riding for your friend. Somehow that seems to keep her in your "now" and part of your "BEFORE". If I were you friend, I would like that very much.
ReplyDeleteRide on.
my friends, you're all awesome. thank you for the support. big hugs!
ReplyDeleteI'm just seeing this now and what a beautiful tribute to your friendship and love for Trina. I hope that you are comforted by the memories you made with her. My sympathies for your loss.
